Summary: Ever since the Jewish people were promised land after the second world war, because they had been incredibly discriminated, they have had conflicts with the Arabs, because they too were promised land. The British got to strung up with the Arab-Israeli conflict that they handed it to the UN. They UN decided on a partition, that very partition caused an up-roar in the Arab communities and they refused it. The Jews end up attacking the Arab league and they gain a lot of territory.
